We Are Now East Tennessee PBS We’re changing our name but not who we are. We are still your local nonprofit, viewer-supported public television station, providing the exceptional programs you’ve enjoyed for decades: national shows like "Downton Abbey", “Antiques Roadshow,” “Masterpiece,” “Frontline,” “NewsHour,” “NOVA,” "Nature," "Austin City Limits," and local shows like “East Tennessee Stories,” “Scholars’ Bowl,” “Fit & Fun with Missy Kane,” "Live Green Tennessee," "Dr. Bob Show," and “Marshal Andy and The Riders of the Silver Screen.” We still believe in the excitement of exploration, that life offers each of us adventures that are ours for the taking; that experience is life's best teacher; and that unexpected discoveries can enrich and renew us.We still believe that children are born explorers who need trusted guides on their journeys of discovery. We believe in challenging assumptions and that important questions deserve to be explored, deeply, fairly and honestly. We still believe that we must continue to break new ground and encourage new ideas. Most importantly, we still believe that who you are and where you come from should never stand in the way of what you want to be.We are East Tennessee PBS.
